Our Physicians

Dr. David Cook moved to Wenatchee following completion of his Pediatric Residency at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.  Although he and his wife are Wisconsin natives and loyal to The Green Bay Packers, he has considered this an ideal valley to raise his five children.

In the spring Dr. Cook can be found coaching The Wenatchee High School Pole Vaulting Team.  The Cook family enjoys backpacking, music and most sports.

Dr. Jerry Crawford received his medical degree from the University of Utah and completed his postgraduate training at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics.

Whether reading a book, hiking just about anywhere or simply playing games, as a devoted family man of busy teenagers, he is totally happy when one of his kids will just hangout with him.  Dr. Crawford and his wife Denise are often found on the sidelines attending track meets, soccer games and musical events supporting the youth of the valley, their own and many others.

Dr. Peter Keyser is a California native transplanted to the great Northwest. He received his college degree from Stanford University and medical degree from the University of California, San Diego.  He completed his pediatric training at Children's Hospital in Seattle, where he was Chief Pediatric Resident.  He enjoys practicing the full spectrum of pediatrics from newborn care through adolescence.

Dr. Keyser is married with four children.  He enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, hiking, and bicycling in his free time.

Dr. Walter Newman, our Senior Partner, is retiring from his Pediatric Practice with June 30, 2006 being his last day in the office.  This will complete 34 years of doing something he loved to do, day in and day out.  After completing his Residency at Children's Hospital in Washington D.C., he began his medical career with a tour serving in the U.S. Navy.  Dr. Newman feels very fortunate to have been a part of the lives of so many young people in our valley and has especially enjoyed his patients becoming parents and their continuing to include him in the care of their own children.

As summer approaches you might pass Dr. Newman streaking (not as in the 70's) past on his bike, running the loop or in the park playing with his grandchildren.  He's looking forward to gardening, time with his wife and family and the opportunity to become involved in the community.
